William “Bill” Breslin, 74, passed away on July 23, 2026 at The Rucki Hospice Care Center.
He was born and raised in Tampa, Florida and graduated high school from Jefferson High school.He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Dorothy Breslin; and his brother John “Mike” Breslin. Bill is survived by his children Christina (Larry) Richardson, Joseph Breslin, and Elizabeth Breslin; grandchildren Roseanne (William) Richardson, Charles (Kelly) Richardson, Larry “David” Richardson III, Cecelia Richardson, Austin Richardson, Ryan (Maria) Bartholomew, Maryann (Evan) Bartholomew, Hunter DeVellis; great-grandchildren Allie, Billy, and Talisha.
Bill was proud that he followed in his father’s footsteps and was in the Tampa Police Department. He found that his true calling was building things with his hands. One of his greatest prides was he rebuilt the engine to his mustang in his garage. He enjoyed fishing.
Bill’s family will be hosting a celebration of his life where everyone is welcome to share stories about Bill.
