Thomas J. DiMare, 78 of Tampa Florida, formally of Waltham Massachusetts, passed away on April 12, 2025 at Melech Hospice House in Temple Terrace. Born in Boston, he graduated from Boston State College with a Masters Degree in Education. Tom was a Social Studies Teacher in Billerica Massachusetts for 35 years. After retirement, he opened up a little collectibles shop on Main Street in Waltham called The Ultimate Yard Sale.
He is survived by his wife Rita (Santa Maria) of 56 years, his son Todd DiMare & wife Julie of Wesley Chapel Florida, his daughter Bria Sullivan & husband James of Los Angeles, his granddaughter Gia DiMare of Wesley Chapel Florida and his brother John DiMare & wife Helen of Laguna Beach California. Also many nieces & nephews.
Tom had a great love for teaching and his students. I think they would agree, he was very quick witted and a masterful storyteller. He was an avid Boston Red Sox, Patriot’s and Bruin’s fan. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
