It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Peter Hrynyk of Yale Michigan, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, friend and Navy veteran, who left us peacefully on March 16, 2025, surrounded by love at the age of 67.

Born on June 22, 1957, Peter lived a life rooted in love, laughter, and connection. He was a man whose warmth, generosity, and easygoing spirit left a lasting impact on everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. He had a way of making everyone feel seen, heard, and above all—loved.

Peter is survived by his devoted wife, Sylvia, with whom he shared a beautiful life filled with partnership and deep love. He is also lovingly remembered by his daughter Keri and her husband Steve, and their children: Tyler, Kyle, and Olivia, who brought immense pride and joy to his life. His memory also lives on through his daughter-in-law Shannon Yankovich, his grandson Eric, and his granddaughters Aleyniah, Zaidlyn and MaKyla all of whom held a special place in his heart.

Peter is also survived by his cherished brother Dwayne Hrynyk and his wife Donna, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins with whom Peter shared countless memories and a strong family bond.

He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Peter Hrynyk and Sylvia Hrynyk, and by his beloved son, Jeffrey Graham, whose memory Peter carried with him every day.

An avid outdoorsman, Peter found peace and joy in golfing and hunting. The quiet of nature, the companionship of friends, and the traditions he shared on those outings were some of his most treasured moments. Yet above all, his heart belonged to his family and his many friends. He was the kind of man who made everyone feel like family, who showed up when it mattered, and who gave his love freely and fully. Peter’s legacy is one of kindness, strength, and unwavering love. His presence lit up every room, and his memory will continue to do so in the hearts of those who knew him. He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
