Luis Antonio Carbonell Rossello, 77, passed away on September 28, 2026.

Luis was a wonderful father and grandfather. He was married to Rafaela Carbonell Quintana for 46 years, until her passing in 2016. He will always be remembered for the love he gave his family and the special place he held in their hearts. His life leaves behind a legacy of love, cherished memories, and precious moments that will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

He enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, including walking outdoors, discovering new restaurants, and trying different foods. He also loved watching baseball games, one of his favorite pastimes.

Above all, Luis was a loving father and grandfather who deeply valued his family. The moments they shared, the experiences they enjoyed together, and the love he gave will remain in the hearts of his loved ones forever. Although his passing brings great sadness, his memory will continue to be a source of comfort, strength, and love for his family.

Luis is survived by his daughters, Lorna Elizabeth Vega and Frances Marie Valdes; his grandchildren, Sarah Vega, Elissa N. Valdes, Benjamin Vega, and Victoria S. Valdes; his aunt, Ramona Rossello Febus; his brothers, Francisco Carbonell Rossello and Ivan Carbonell; best friend Carlos Ivan Gonzalez, and Luis’ loving partner of seven years, Annie Vila.

Luis will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family and all those whose lives he touched. His memory will live on forever as a reminder of the love and family bonds that connect generations.
