Lloyd L “Skitter” Soper 90, of Tampa passed away Sunday, July 27th 2025 in his home.

He was born in Greenville Michigan and he grew up in Grayling and Grand Rapids. He Lived in Fredric Michigan for several years before Moving to Tampa Florida. Lloyd was retired from National Wire after 30 years Employment. He was a devoted member of Palm River Baptist Church, His nick name was Skitter As a child.

He was proceeded in death by his Wife Phyllis R Short Soper and Mother Geneva O Sixbury Anderson of Tampa. Father Ray J Soper of Michigan, grandson Joseph E Bathe of Tampa, two brothers Raymond J Soper of Michigan and Ralph A Soper of North Carolina. Sister Deloris Soper of Michigan and Son in law Gary Price of Tampa.

Survived in life by four Children Audrey Price of Plan City, Richard Soper of Tampa, Cheryl and Keith Reublin of Seffner, Beckie Melson and Robert Gonzalez of Carrollwood. Six grandchildren Robert and Maria Bathe of Seffner Charles and Rose Bathe of Georgia , Jenny and Saki Gagen of Plant City, Gary Price of Plant City, Christmas Wiley of Homosassa, Brian Tilden of Seffner.

He is also survived in Life by his Thirteen Great Grand Children. They are, Joseph Stone of Plant City, Joshua Bathe of Plant City, Noah Bathe of Wesley Chapel, Sebastian and Natalya Bathe of Tampa, Cheyenne Bathe of Tampa, Kody Bathe of Seffner, Caleb Findley of Tampa, Sam Johnson of Tampa , Colton Wiley of Homosassa, Brent Burk of Georgia, Tyler Burke of Georgia, Hannah Rogers of Lakeland, Roseann Rogers of Georgia and Four great great grandchildren Nevaeh Bathe of Tampa, Camron White of Tampa, Carter Marcano of Georgia, Meyah Marcano of Georgia, and one Brother Jim and Diane Soper of Michigan. Two sisters, Dorothy Curtis Soper of Michigan and Doris Knight of Michigan.

Services will be planed at a later date. The family would like to thank everyone for there thoughts, prayers, Kind words and flowers, we appreciate it.
