Evelyn Torres-Brooks passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 23, 2026.
She was born in Stamford, CT on March 28, 1968, to Delfin and Blanca Torres.
Ellie enjoyed music, movies, dining out, and, most of all, spending time with her family and friends. She brought warmth, love, and laughter to those around her and cherished the relationships she built throughout her life.
She is survived by her loving children, Starr Torres-Brooks (Ethan Henderson), Evan Torres-Brooks, and Elysse Torres-Brooks (Stéfano Cerezo); her beloved mother, Blanca; her siblings, Elvin Torres, Dolly Torres, and Mavelyn Blanco (Ed Blanco); as well as many nieces, nephews, close family members, and dear friends. She was predeceased by her father, Delfin.
Evelyn was deeply loved by her family and friends. She was kind and loving. Her presence will be greatly missed, and her memory will be treasured by all who knew her.

Evelyn was one of those special individuals whom I had the privilege of growing up with. She never judged others and was always looking for ways to help. I will always remember her beautiful smile and the genuine love and kindness she showed to everyone around her.
I have many wonderful memories of spending time with her and her family while growing up. My father shared a close friendship with her parents, and I remember seeing how happy, humble, and loving they were. Evelyn carried those same qualities throughout her life.
She was truly a remarkable woman whose warmth, compassion, and spirit touched many lives. She will be deeply missed, but her memory and the love she shared will remain in our hearts forever.
