Pierre Wayne Conley born September 22, 1954, in Springfield, Illinois, joined our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ March 16, 2026. He was preceded in death by his mother Emily Conley (Stewart), his father, Charlie Conley, and his sister, Keya Conley. He is survived by his siblings: Pamela J Conley of Riverview, Florida, Celeste K Adams (Oliver E Greene) of Tampa, Florida, Charlie T Conley Jr. (Ruth) of Smyrna, Georgia, Andre A Conley of Springfield, Illinois and his children: Wesley Conley, Decatur Illinois, Keisha Conley, Decatur, Illinois, Breanna Goodwin (Joseph), Joppa, Maryland, Aimee Conley, Decatur, Illinois Preston Russell, Decatur, Illinois. He is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Pierre was a generous person who had no need for grandeur. He loved his children and was protective of his family. His smile could melt your heart because one could see it was so genuine. He preferred spending as much time outside working on the lawn or just chatting with neighbors. During his illness his neighbors often visited him making new endearing memories for Pierre and his family.
We will miss his smile, his presence, and his generous spirit at family functions. We know he is in the presence of Jesus as his faith was so full!
Pierre’s desire was to be cremated which will be carried out by Tampa Cremation & Burial Service, Tampa, Florida.
We will have a Celebration of Pierre’s life at his home on March 28, 2026, 3:00pm – 5:00pm at 12012 Cinnamon Fern Dr., Riverview, FL 33579.
We want to thank everyone for their phone calls, cards, text messages, flowers, and words of encouragement, healing, strength and peace as we lay our brother Pierre to a well-deserved rest in Jesus arms. We are so very grateful to each of you.

Sister Celeste and Family,
I was saddened to hear about the passing of your brother Pierre. May you all find peace in the Lord. With sympathy and love.🙏🏿❤️🕊️
Im going to miss my cousin very much. Im going to miss him calling me and checking up on things back in Decatur. When he lived in Decatur he would come by and visit me and Mom. She delighted in seeing ” Petey Wheaty ” then she always kissed him. He never complained about the kisses he got from her, because he knew she always did that. Mom would always enjoy Pierre’s company . Pierre sometimes would act like my big brother by asking me if anyone was giving me a hard time, and if so he would deal with them. Se you in Heaven Cousin.
We were saddened to hear of Pierre’s transition. Much Love on the celebration of a life well lived and a person much loved. Love you all
My dear Sisterfriend Celeste and family, I know that you carry both joy and sadness in your hearts right now. May Pierre’s gentle presence and faithful love remain a blessing to you always and God’s tender comfort surround you and give you peace. 🙏🏾💕🕊️
