Pauline Delores Tallent Burts passed away at the age of 98 years on July 19, 2026. She was born on January 9, 1928, in Atlanta, GA to Aaron Talmadge Tallent and Arah Euverna Ragan Tallent. She lived in Columbus, GA from 1958 until 1982, then in Tampa, FL, most recently at Chapman Manor Lutz.
Delores was affectionally called Dee by her family and friends.
Dee was a devoted parent and grandparent and loved her family deeply and was likewise loved by her family. She is survived by her daughter Jan L Burts Hobbs and her husband Walter, her sons Stephen L Burts, Jr and his wife Joy, Craig C Burts and Kevin C Burts and 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Dee loved flowers, birds and bright sunshine. She loved our Lord Jesus Christ and was a born-again Christian believer. She was a wonderful cook, and all loved her spaghetti, lasagna and blackberry cobbler. She always had a friendly smile, was loved by so many and will be greatly missed.
