Moriah “Diann” Gillespie, 76, Went to be with our Lord on February 4, 2026 . She was deeply loved by all who knew her and was a well-known hairdresser in her community, where she built lasting friendships through her warmth, kindness and generous spirit.
Diann was born on December 3, 1949 in Plant City Florida to the late Bill Gillespie and Iris Boyette. She was the oldest of three children and graduated from Turkey Creek high school class of 1967.
She has survived by her four children: Melisa (Neville) Davis, Tamas, Annalisa, and Carl (Connor) Crossen. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren: Kaitlyn (Michael) McDonald, Kristina (Chris) Bennett, Gabriel, Dylan, Sarah Milady, Maximus, John Michael (Daisy) Heredy, Anna Maria (Jordan) Evans, Elizabeth, Presley, Kennedy, and Claire Crossen,
Her legacy continues through her cherished great-grandchildren: Kaleb, Kennedy, Makenzie, Sophia, Penelope, Bella, Killian, Luke and Carter.
Diann loved spending time with her family and never passed up the chance to shop for a great bargain. Her beautiful smile and joyful laughter filled every room and lifted every heart. She will be remembered for her unwavering love, her vibrant personality, and the light she brought into the lives of so many.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, March 7th, 2026 from 11am – 1pm at the Fellowship Church 15326 Fishhawk Blvd., Lithia, FL 33547.
