Kenneth “Domino” Hammonds was born on December 16, 1958, in Sebring, Florida. He peacefully gained his wings on March 3, 2026.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harry and Louise Hammond; his mother, Catherine Hammonds; his aunts, Florence and Ethelyn Hammonds; his uncles, Harry, Jimmie, and Eddie Hammonds; his bonus sister and brothers, Marjorie, Dexter, Eddie, and Willie Hammonds; and his beloved niece and nephew, Sebrena James and Jamar Hammonds.

Domino leaves to cherish his memory his loving children, Christian (Manica) Williams and Sheniqua (Tiki) Reed. He is also survived by his aunt, Minnie Hammonds; his sisters, Sandra (Michael) Lancaster and Sonia Glenn; and his cousins, Harry Glenn, Merle (Ken) Wilson, Jimmia (Reggie) Samuel, and Michelle Hammonds.

He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly: Satira (Lee) Haynes, Sabra Floyd, Stacey Hammonds, Tramecia Williams, Latasha Brown, and Gary and Armad Mitchell, along with his sister-in-law, Brenda Hammonds.

His legacy continues through his cherished grandnieces and grandnephews: Jonecia, Jonathan, Jazmon, Alexis, Leia, Shayla, Shane, Lanai, LJ, Derriannah, Fredricka, LaCoya, and Sharne. He also shared a special bond with his cousin, Jimmie Dorsey.

Domino attended Sebring High School and later South Florida Community College, where he received certification in masonry. He was a skilled craftsman who took pride in his work.

Raised in Sebring, Domino developed a lifelong love for the outdoors, especially fishing. He enjoyed spending time on the water and valued the simple moments shared with family and friends.

Throughout his life, Domino built lasting relationships and gained an extended “bonus family” who loved him dearly. His bonus nieces and nephews include Tavares, Breana, TJ, JJ, Toddy, Fredreanna, Zakis, the Sebrena and Jamar girls—Haillyn, Amari, and Jahira—as well as Konrad, Nisaa, and Staasia.

Domino will be remembered for his love of family. He was a provider who went without to make sure his family was well taken care of. He would give his last to those in need. Domino brought joy to those around him. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him and he will be “greatly” missed.

A Celebration of Life is planned for Saturday, March 14th at Affluent Palais Events from 2-7pm.
