Jymeann ”Jimmy” King died peacefully on December 4, 2025. She was born in Joliet, IL to James and Helen Silvia King on August 31, 1946. Jymeann was a graduate of Joliet Central High School and Creighton University School of Pharmacy. She worked in hospital pharmacy at Yale New Haven and Georgetown University among others before joining the staff of USP in Washington, DC as a Drug Information Specialist.
Jymeann loved children, animals and singing. Her passion for fun and her sense of humor made her a beloved “aunt” to family and friends alike. Left to mourn her passing are her sister Evelyn [Dennis] Crooks, Bradenton, FL and nephew Scott [Michele] Crooks, Smyrna, GA, and many cousins. She dearly loved her great niece Paige and great nephew Adam. May her memory be a blessing to all who knew her.
There are no services. Memorials to your local animal shelter or your favorite charity.

Condolences
Jymeann and I were separated by miles, but we stayed connected through social media. We developed a wonderful relationship based on mutual interests – kids and cats! I spent a wonderful Christmas with her family and enjoyed learning more about my father’s side of the family.
She was a thoughtful, loving person.
