Joseph Dario “Joe” Traggiai, of Plant City, Florida, passed away on September 4, 2025, in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on July 13, 1969, in Omaha, Nebraska, where he spent most of his life before making Florida his home six years ago.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Traggiai; his niece, Jacoba Allen; and his grandparents, Dario and Margret Traggiai, and James and Carolyn Fox.
Joe is survived by his daughter Lily of Nebraska; his parents, Ron and Pat Traggiai of Plant City; his sisters, Mary (Frank) Allen of North Carolina and Michele (Michael) Kwon of Plant City; along with many beloved cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Joe was a family-oriented, strong, and intelligent light to the world.
He was the person everyone could count on for a good laugh and a warm embrace. Known for his quick wit and sharp sense of humor, Joe always had the most random yet surprisingly useful facts ready to share. His funny and captivating stories became cherished moments for his family, bringing joy and laughter to every gathering.
With a deep love for the outdoors and animals, Joe cultivated a wealth of knowledge through his own curiosity and self-teaching. He also had a compassionate soul and a heartfelt desire to help anyone in need—qualities that will be fondly remembered by all who knew him and lovingly carried on by his family.
A casual celebration of Joe’s life will be held Saturday, September 13, 2025, 11:30am, at the family residence: 2919 James Melvin Drive, Plant City Florida, 33565.
