With deep love and sorrow, we announce the passing of Gloria Dawn Gaskins, who departed this life peacefully on August 15, 2025, in Brandon, Florida, at the age of 83.

Born on May 27, 1942, Gloria was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was the heart of her family—a woman of strength, grace, and unshakable love. Her kindness and compassion were constants in the lives of all who knew her.

Gloria was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Eugene and Marie Webster, her brothers David Gregory and Walter Gregory, and her cherished daughter, Cynthia Gaskins.

She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, John (Bud) Gaskins, her devoted son John Gaskins, and daughter-in-law Sheri Niego Gaskins, and her brother Victor Gregory. She also leaves behind her treasured grandchildren: Sara, Dan, Nicole, Joshua, Alex, Haleigh, and Kaylee, as well as eight great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy and pride to her life.

Gloria was a steady presence, always offering comfort, support, and unconditional love. Her home was a place of warmth and laughter, and her legacy of compassion and family devotion will live on in the generations she helped shape.

A Celebration of Life will be held on September 14, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Origins Ranch, located at 5041 Reece Road, Plant City, Florida 33566. Family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and honor the extraordinary life she lived.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Gloria’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, a cause that was close to her heart. Donations can be made online at www.stjude.org or by mail.

She will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and always loved.
